    You captured a serious moment…
Christopher, you have Earthly Angels by your side. You’re blessed by God that’s for certain. But not to sway off from what I also see in the photo:
The body lingo shows me: you are both, extremely protective of Elyse, therefore I see two gentlemen and one beautiful lady. :)
All for one, and one for all

Since my sound was off on my monitor I couldn’t listen to your audio blog so anyway, I was able to hear you and I can relate to what you’re saying. Christopher,
I respect your honesty and feel at home here, so to speak. I nearly gave up on people. And it’s lousy, because I’d like to be considered a “people person.” I like to be up-front; straightforward and put my cards on the table, with nothing up my sleeve.
In fact, I am not ashamed to say “I wear my heart on my sleeve. So after hearing you speak about that forgetful, stuck up person who you’ve help in the past… well I can relate.
Life is a two way street and this I learned in my youth and is why I can speak now. My daughter pleads with me not to change, so I am trying not to fade. When I found EARS I was happy, really. Because it reconfirms what my daughter tells me. Therefore I am here… unless I’m asked to leave.
Fact: Back in the day, without dropping names–some of the toughest companies opened their door to me. I worked up the ladder and worked my way up to the top. While at the top I never forgot the bottom rung.
And since I was able to go up and down I put my reputation on the line and helped the poor soul who needed to support his family. I never used these people to cut my lawn… and believe me or not, there were others in my capacity that used people to cut their lawn. I was happy with a “thanks.” So I was easy to please… with a simple thanks. Now of course, they had to do their job, but I also learned: Since my standards were high, people had to make like super-man…but the reality is: to be super is a gift, so I accepted the man. Well, talk about a nose in the air. I met the man who I helped and he came into my home acting like Robert D Not that D is bad, but this man was talking to me like a made man, while shooting orders at me. And those famous words of of Mr D. Came to life, which is: You talkin’ to me?
So how fast “some people” forget. Sure this man became super, but he forgot who helped make him the man.
So there you have it. Take it for what it’s worth. I guess this is human nature. I see it as not being easy having a heart. I fight with myself not to turn bitter. And this is a fact.
All for one, and one for all

  3. CRC Says:

It’s all about your daughter, good man.

  4. Doug Says:

I hear you, CRC. Thanks for the kind words and for taking time out to read. It looks like a bunch of words but there is truth in there. :)
    All for one…

I agree the war is being handled all wrong. There are so many deaths happening, and for what? It’s a very sad time.
Regarding the bigwig, I read a quote the other day, and I wish I could remember it exactly. It says something like, You can tell how a person really is by how they treat people who cannot do anything for them. I think that is perfect for this guy.

  6. CRC Says:

    Very true.

I am exhausted from my inner battle- not to forget mention, “How my family must feel.” CRC, you’re correct when you state: It’s all about your daughter, good man.
Thanks for sharing your wisdom. The ‘Good Man’ had lost his way… but your wise words rang in my ears; and like a magnet you are drawing from the darkness.
God Bless you, my friend. I hope Duke City Shootout brings you great things. You’re a great person.
    All for One…
