SUNDAY WISDOM

I prefer to be true to myself, even at the hazard of incurring the ridicule of others, rather than to be false, and to incur my own abhorrence.

This is the proverbial “Opening Of The Can Of Worms”.
Mr. Frederick Douglass is one of the people I most admire and try to reflect. With that said I climb upon my soapbox and….
We as human beings MUST, not learn, but remember how it is to as Dr. King said, “Not judge a man according to the color of his skin…”.
We are all pink inside and bleed red. Our outside appearance is mearly a reflection of our ansestory. I do not know of any man or woman who chose to be, or selected the region where they were brought into this wonderful world. And it is that which defines our racial makeup. NOTHING ELSE!
Our country finally made the NEEDED historical leap of boundries by electing for President a person, who as another noted and sometimes contraversial figure said…”We must not look at President Elect Obama as a Black Person who was elected President. Rather a President who happens to be Black.”
    Rev. Al Sharpton
I hope and pray this simple thought every day. That we humans eliminate racial boundries all together, and take the next leap into erasing social boundries and classes. A person should be recognized and rewarded for his contributions to his world. This would include not going home and kicking the dog.
Thank you Christopher R. Coppola for inspiring me and so many others. If you were to recieve your wealth in this world based on your vision for the world, you sir would be a very wealthy man. Correction…YOU ARE A VERY WEALTHY MAN, in my book.
    Be well all,

I now announce myself as candidate for the Presidency. I anticipate criticism; but however unfavorable I trust that my sincerity will not be called into question.
    Victoria Woodhull

The black man got to vote before the woman, so history has the first Biracial President, he is half white, before a woman president.

In the seventh grade, I wrote about what I thought it would be like to be a runaway slave and I remember Frederick Douglas. Thanks for the history lesson……

It is important to find our own true self. I do this through Mental renewal (reading a book instead of watching T.V.) Physical renewal (exercising instead of laying around) Spritual renewal (Meditation) and Social renewal (getting out and talking to people). Through these 4 principals of balanced self renewal I focus and find my true self.

It’s always an honor to post my thoughts amongst you guys. Plus, I feel very much at ease here. No bull, just straight from the heart stuff. That is one of the great a great strength’s here. We have plenty of heart; not ones that harbor bad intentions. So, thank you to every heart!

From my perspective, I feel blessed beyond belief.
