Hi Bailey & CRC! Sounds like a great place, and pop’s advice sounds great, too. I wish you all the best. Many years ago I played that tune, muted as well. Now it sounds like a good song to sing.

Pack up all your cares and woes
    Here I go singing low,
    bye bye blackbird.

    Where someone waits for me
Sugars sweet and so is he,
    bye bye blackbird.

No one here can love and understand me,
Oh what hard luck stories thay all hand me.

Make my bed and light the light
    I’ll arrive late tonight,
    bye bye blackbird

    ((((Barn, surf’s up?)))) :)

You amaze me CRC, everytime I stop by we seem to be on the same wave length. You like jazz? My old video on the “Hollywood Barber from the Past” that I sent to OTL, my barber gave me this CD, and some others. I put a Jackie Gleason riff on the Barber piece,( never knew Jackie Gleason was a composer) but the way I have been feeling lately I created this little piece from another jazz tune that was first recorded in 1926.

It’s a great piece with a muffled trumpet and sax and a great singer that I think is Jimmy something, I’m going to have to ask the barber again.

He gives me all kinds of CD’s he a big fan zootsuits and jazz. I’ve started listen more to instrumental pieces now and it’s soothing.

Hope the changes in the blog are good and everything is fine…

Surf’s up brotha barn and hobo prohet.. stay good.

  6. Kimberlee Says:

I enjoyed listening to this. I’ve always liked the Pink Panther theme and was hoping to hear it. The Pink Panther cartoon is adorable! :) :)

  7. The Barn Says:

Yes indeed Kimberlee! Henry Mancini did a good job in composing that tune. I loved those cartoons as a kid.
    Be well,
