CRC, thanks once again for sharing your “Sunday Wisdom” quotes. I have much to say about being gracious and courteous towards strangers. I believe F B’s quote wholeheartedly! But it is important to add a little bit of ‘caution’ into the meet, because you never know if that stranger wants to cut you off from other lands (and hearts) permanently.

If I might impose my bit to this wonderful piece of “Sunday Wisdom”…
I liken myself to be the ithmus that can connect the continents. I am watching our world slip away from the world I came to know and love.
And it is becomming more illuminated,the reasons why things are the way they are today. It is because of this species that has come to dominate the planet. Burning oil, and coal. Cutting down trees, and strip mining the land of it’s soul and resources. And people…It ain’t the deer, the bears, the eagles, the whales doing it. we all know the creatures doing it. It is us.
Me? I’m left to be the hippocrite. Why? Because I drive a pickup, and sell cellular phones so as I could survive in this society that I crave so much, yet loath just as much. It is the species that has driven people like myself to be the way I am. It is the species that has made land a commodity to be bought and sold, rather than a place to live freely. It is a species that has made it so that if I am hungry I have no choice but to purchase my food from the store, and perpetuate the machine that is grinding ourselves to oblivion.
Greed of want and not want of need has driven all of us into a state of an unknown future.
Now to apply the “Sunday Wisdom” given to us by CRC from the mind of a man he obviously holds in high regard…
IT IS UP TO EACH AND EVERY FREAKING ONE OF US TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE FOR NOT JUST US, BUT THAT DEAR, THAT BEAR, THAT EAGLE, THAT WHALE.
WE DO NOT OWN THIS LIVING PLANET!!!! WE ONLY LIVE HERE. NO ONE OWNS HER, MY EARTH MOTHER. SHE IS OUR PARENT. WHY DO SOME OF US SLAP HER, GOUGE OUT HER EYES, SPIT OUR POISON INTO HER FOOD.
WHY!!!???
Be the gracious and the courteous to not only humankind, but to all living things. The Planet included.

I give to charity and strangers what I can give until they take advantage of my generosity. I think their is alot of help out that for people who need it as long they go through the proper channels. I know when people are king to me I always want to return the favor.
