The best time to look at the sun is at sunset. The beautiful colors of the sky are amazing while they blend one into the other. God must be an artist with a palette that can not be compare with anyone here on earth. No camera, painting or photo can compete with the naked eye as it look at the splender of God's creation.

Apollo, the Sun god, brings life-giving heat and light to Earth.

As patron god of musicians and poets, he carries a lyre and his symbol represents the “egg of creation”.

And this whole time, I thought the sun was just a ball of gas that warmed the earth with sunlight which gave Mother Nature her power.

When I was a young girl, I was told not to look directly at the sun because it would burn my eyes. Of course, I peeked at the sun very quickly while I waited for the morning bus for school and all I saw was a very white bright light and I didn't go blind.

Hi Jeff, and happy new year. Happy new year to CRC, Barn, Anna and everyone who reads my response to Jeff.

Jeff, I wish I could answer your question. I will say that life and some people have a way of turning one's eyes into stones. So when my stones look up towards the wild blue, I see a green spot. Whereas an innocent child will see every color of the rainbow.

Surf's up, Brodda?

Peace out,
