I live with all kinds of characters, Tuc. is like Mayberry with a little bit of the Wild West thrown in. The deputy sheriff is going to build me woooden frames for my paintings. I think he wants something.

Like Grandpa Pablo likes to say, with a Spanish accent, "They just want publicity, everyone wants publicity" anyway I think I married into the Spanish verison of the Beverly Hillbillies. "This here is private property, you got a warrant?"

Grandma Moses, the spry, indomitable "genuine American primitive" who became one of the country's most famous painters in her late seventies.
Cheerful, as a cricket, even in her last years, she continued to be keenly observant of all that went on around her. Until her last birthday, Sept. 7, she rarely failed to do a little painting every day. NY Times.

The name of the character of "Granny Moses" on the popular 1960s rural comedy television series The Beverly Hillbillies was an homage to Grandma Moses. I loved the Beverly Hillbillies, I have my own Jethro.....

It's never too late Doug.........

Appreciate this, Cali. I am not too sure about my vision, but what I do know is, about a 110 pounds ago, I helped people from different walks of life. I even took timeout from my lunch to teach, Rocky Balboa types, how to use construction tools, read blueprints - you name it I did it.

I am not the type to say what I do, but since these lurkers are savoring my words, I need to say it the way it was. No one will argue that. But then, there are the people who love drama.

A few of these types want me on the curb. I am sorry to express that, but on the flip:

I made a vow to be true blue. Mr. Coppola respects honesty, that is one thing I will say.

The lurkers know about my "safe camp" symbol on the "I am" parchment. This glyph was used by hobos back in the day.

There is truth to that statement:"What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” and “It builds Character.”

But no matter how many times you survive, there are those who will try every trick to bring down your character.

Just look at the tabloid news people. Lately, they're very sarcastic to the celebrities. I don't care who. While they twist sound bytes, even make photos look worse than what they appear to be. We're dealing with crap merchants more than ever. This is a real disgrace.

So I hope and pray that the 'hurt can stop awhile.' Quite simply, this type of negativity will lead, those who harbor it, to fall of a cliff. It is a short term victory. Nobody likes a flea ridden rats. While careless chatter will cost lives. We have a Creator to answer to; no bad deed goes unpunished.

Anyhow, I better quite while I am ahead. Thanks again, Cali! Keep that heart flowing okay?

Surf's up, Brodda!

Doug, so sorry to hear that you have people that fear your vision so much that they would stoop to that level of involving police.
It just proves you have the gift.

I have been hearing for the last few years the saying " What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" and "It builds Charactor" I think we have enough character and I am feel a little to strong so the hurt can stop for awhile, In my view.

This may seem easier said than done, Cali, but try to believe in your heart that you're safe and loved.

Much plays into why I came to that realization. You can bet that I am forever grateful to those who opened their heart's to mine.

Also, I believe that our coming together to make "I Am" wasn't just to make a movie; aside from my hopes, prayer, and a prophetic vision, it's making became a healing experience for many hearts.

Take or leave what I am about to share:

Too many people put on phoney personas. I realize these are just protective facades, but one needs to bare one's soul. And so...it is best to go naked and be real than to live an airtight lie. "I really do worry about every heart."

I also pray that God will help me to have a more forgiving heart.

FACT:

For years now, we have certain people whom have been lurking around here. I have learned, they have hopes of seeing me fall.

They concoct stories - even went as far as having law enforcement access my email accounts.

In fact if they happen to be reading, please know that I forgive all of you. I may speak with a Brooklyn accent and have a jolted brain, but I am fully aware of what's been going on while I try to move forward, not backwards. No when can deny, we need to have a forgiving heart in order for our soul's free.

To all, the time has come to let go!

I will end on this note: It is too late for me to become a great artist/actor/singer/writer/builder & whatever other dreams I had, but God moved me towards Mr. Coppola's path, He also gave me a second chance to redeem myself. With my right hand towards the heavens I publicly declare: I will strive to share my heart with all whomever will listen.

So, go deep, Cali! We ALL will be looking forward that day.

Surf's up, brudda!

There is a rumbling among the mumbling and I seem to see the need for speed in my fading twilight of my youth. Barn! Doug!

The need is there and the will is begining to come back to spread the view held inside for years. I'm going to refocus inward and turn to extroverted personas to create a scene. I've got to reconnect because art is the blood that gives life meaning ..
