Well, I was a big fan of the cartoon, “Jetsons” so I need my mask like Jane does and she is talking to her friend and her friends mask falls, and Jane is wearing a mask, maybe it’s a woman thing, tons of makeup, maybe Jack Sparrow’s mom, before I do a webcam. Now they want a crone for a non paiding job, a pachuco, and an old man. Sorta like a Charlie Chaplin movie, hardly any words. I can dress like my grandma.
Hi Dougie, I’m still in consideration for the Shamaness, is that a real word? It snowed like crazy yesterday, one day you are walking the horses in shorts and the next day you are sweeping snow off the huge roll of hay wearing a thick jacket. Ranchers prayed for rain and got snow. Be careful what you pray for, I know…..

Yea, California Yanqui, I think you should take the challenge of a webcam. Seen your pics on your myspace…..

Admin.(Laz?) It’s one thing I never had time to get.
I have the g4 powerbook laptop that I could hook up my minidv cam and try that way. Would that work?

CRC, your painting is coming out great, now I’m afraid I’ll mess it up. I’ll send you a photo of the work in process.

Isn’t the webcam attached to the newer laptops? My dinosaur computer doesn’t have one but I bought a webcam for $19.00 than lost the disc, found it when I was looking for something else.

I tried to firewire my camera through the computer and for a second the site for me went white with just the sentences and information.
I thought maybe the pop up blocker or firewall.
I probably have to download some software? I’ll search it out and be back.
Anna my laptop is out dated and Ididn’t getthe one with the camera. Wish I would have. Also wish that I would have upgraded my camera instead of this other venture I spent the money on. [slapping yanqui forehead]

Ok, I can’t use my minidv camera unless I go through an analog video capture card, such as the Matrox eTV G450, or an ATI Radeon with video capture, or Hauppage WinTV.
Using Your Digital Camcorder as a Webcam

“The answer is that you cant easily use a miniDV camera as a webcam. Now I’ll tell you why.
The feature most common among miniDV cameras is the port which you use to attach it to your computer, known as a DV port (digital video) and by many other names, such as “i.Link”, “firewire” and “IEEE1394″, all referring to the same technology. When you connect your camcorder to your computer, you are using this firewire connection to stream the video and audio signals onto your hard drive. This is done by use of a Windows technology known as WDM (“Windows Driver Model”). WDM is a relatively new system meant to replace VfW (“Video for Windows”), the previous standard for importing and converting video from one source to the computer.
Unfortunately, most webcams and webcam programs need VfW to work, and firewire uses WDM, not VfW. Windows has in its programming a facility to translate a VfW program to output WDM, but not vice versa, so when you fire up your webcam program, the odds are it will not recognize your miniDV camcorder, connected by firewire.
So how can you make it work? Get an analog video capture card, such as the Matrox eTV G450, or an ATI Radeon with video capture, or Hauppage WinTV. All these cards use a VfW device to capture video and should be recognized in webcam software. Otherwise, invest a couple of bucks into a USB webcam. ”
Hmmmm? spend money on Hauppage WinTV or logitech webcam? I think I’ll get the webcam.

Barn will keep to the typo’s and old school technique. I know you dig old school CRC, so with that said…
Be well all,

I can’t use my camera because it has three prongs, no hook up to the computer. I bought a separate DVD burner but it doesn’t copy copyright movies. It thinks everything is copyright. Tapes of Adam and Josh riding horses. So I have a $200. which was on sale, DVD player. Maybe it’s because we found the money and it was cursed. Don’t want to think about it…..

And Jack Sparrow’s mom has no name and is a shrunken head hanging from his belt. “How’s mom?” “She’s still a swinger.”

I got the part but He didn’t want Bee and Diamond. Remember the movie, “Hidalgo” Bee is like that horse. I told Bee, maybe next time. She is very sad..and Diamond doesn’t care, at all.
