Gould definitely was a brain in the world of biology and life sciences. Also very personable. His book 8 Little Piggies was good. I read it in college and the started reading a few more of his collected essays as time went on. It's a good quote and he has tons more where that came from!

One egg's lower half transformed
And became the earth below,
And its upper half transmuted
And became the sky above;
From the yolk the sun was made,
Light of day to shine upon us;
From the white the moon was formed,
Light of night to gleam above us;
All the colored brighter bits
Rose to be the stars of heaven

This is a Finnish poem
And the darker crumbs changed into
Clouds and cloudlets in the sky.

Exactly. The Cosmic Egg at first looks like a painting of hummingbirds and the birth of Venus, I alway thought the original painting was Eve, when I was a child, but when you look closer, I got a book, The Cosmos in a Nutshell, wish I had more time with the emu egg, but the planets were included plus Saturn could be a spaceship, it took a life of it's own. The red-headed lady named Zozo, or something notice these things and asked me about the Cosmic Egg, but we were interupted by Doug, who told a story about another Venus.

Anna, all a matter of opinion and belief...I never like to cause a stir... and so, while I am 'sad' & 'proud' at the same time,

I need to say...I am saddened by the slum dog story: innocent girl to be sold for 300.000 smackers.

Meanwhile on the flip: Priya requested me to sing an old Dean Martin song. So I fulfilled his request and sung "Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime." His family gathered around the computer screen. This kinda reminds me of the old days when people listened to their radio.

Anyhow, just being a good egg/friend:) That's #1 priority now.

We need peace & love more than ever, especially for the children's sake.

"If the glove don't fit, you must aquit!"
The late great Johnny Cockran

Funny how things turned out in the end. I guess you don't need a glove on to get caught with your hand in the cookie jar.
BAD O.J.! BAD!
Be well all,
