CRC, Barn, Aduzi, Kimberlee, Doc and every other heart that tunes in - I am very sorry for the sound issues at this moment, this will be resolved, but then again, maybe it's meant to BE. A Medicine Man named Dave Swallow and his wife Nilah came and poured the sweat. Nilah spoke during the 3rd round, and said that it was our responsibility to ensure that the young ones not forget the old ways. This is central to Native American belief because the U.S. Government tries to erradicate this from their culture. Up to 1977 it was illeagal to participate in the ceremonies I attend and am intrigual to. Native American children were "sent" to boarding schools and it was forbidden to speak their language and practice their religon. ALL this was all but lost, except for some of those who are my generation that remembered the stories that their Grandpa and Unc'i (Grandma) told them.
