TETRO PREMIERE
I was on my way to a Dodger/Phillies game when I was called and told that the US premiere for my uncle’s “Tetro” was that night. I had mixed up the dates. I did a quick u-turn and headed the other direction on Sunset Blvd. towards the Billy Wilder Theater in Westwood. I made it. The film really resonated with me, a personal art film from the master. Anyhow, as you can see, I was not dressed for the occasion.

I can just imagine. You at a premier with an invite from FFC, and listening to the Dodgers on that bluetooth. Did they win, and how’d you handle the 7th inning stretch?
DOWN IN FRONT!
LOL!

Would this film be considered a bio? Because they say must of our writings and works, (the best) are basically are inner feelings and images of our past and present lives.
Love the art of the tease and previews through the use of websites. Can learn a lot from observation.

CRC, I always enjoy when you would inject your humor into a post…I mean that too. Bless you for hanging a U-ey to head towards your uncle’s movie premiere. Beats the game any day. I am sorry, I have good reason for expressing that.
Anyhow, I echo Brodda Barn & Cali’s posts!
I have had my eye on this movie since your uncle made Tetro’s site accessible to us. I really enjoyed listening to your uncle’s Tetroduction to his labor of love. He really has much heart and, if anyone can bring out the emotions using B&W, it is your uncle, Maestro FCC. I wish Tetro hearts much success. Congratulations!
Catch you all on the next wave.

I sent Lilly the movie, Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events. She called me, “What the name of the movie?” “Snicket something.” That “Tetro” sounds interesting…. I like dark movies maybe they reflect real life more truthfully.
