PAH TRIBUTE TO MY FATHER
I asked a LACC student I didn’t know or knew anything about to do a DigiPortrait of my father, the master teacher he didn’t know or knew nothing about. An idea my father would have liked.

Mr Coppola, I admire you for taking the time out and also for sharing. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful tribute to your father with the world. Again, I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Christopher,
Your tribute is so moving…
I’m trembling, crying…how to explain my feelings in words..I speak painting.
Your father worked so hard on his projects.
The paintings you show were created upon the
inspiring words that he wrote to me.
So much to say…
Again and again, thank Dr. August (I use to call him Augusto) for believing in my art…
Be well,
Pat

This “student” just graduated in my book. I’ve been waiting for this video for a little while now, and am very impressed. I loved the hot dog angle. Made me hungry.
Hey Coppola? Your dad is smiling. Ear to ear!
Be well,

As a little girl, I was my mother’s partner to all the funerals. I remember looking into the slightly opened eye of an older gentleman in his coffin as my mother kneeled before him, wondering if he could see me.
In a way, death was my friend because I learned to accept it at a very young age. Father, Grandfather, Uncle, Uncle soon died, leaving only the memories. Keep your memories of your father close at heart for they will bring you much joy and saddness as you shed a small tear, for that is what life is all about………

A remarkable man, your father. The acorns have not fallen far from the tree…….

This was a wonderful tribute to a great man. My only wish would be, the privilege to have met him.
