SUNDAY WISDOM
“I stand before you tonight to represent the people who do not count: The poor, the poets, and the monks. As long as there are people who are trying to realize the divine in themselves, there shall be hope in the world.”
–Thomas Merton, a Catholic monk, intellectual, writer and seeker, at an interfaith conference in Calcutta. 1968.

My friend recently read an article that said something about the American people realizing we haven’t been as nice as we could be and that it is about being “kind” to each other a little more than whatever it is we’ve been doing. Something like that.

In the spirit of the holidays, create a ripple of Kindness around the world. You in?
Surprise someone with the gift of a cup of coffee
and conversation, like the old grouch, usually I ask him about his vintage car………..it’s not just the poor but the rich that need a kind word even if they were mean to you..I learning to forgive and forget, even at this late age…….and the old man at the funeral who didn’t serve the pecan pie but took it home instead,,I really wanted a piece…

Ok all,
I honor CRC and my family here with a last posting before I unplug the ol H/P. I guess I cannot agree with Dugsy’s last post about old school. I’ll keep you filled in on that one. I’m not only gonna talk it, I’ll go walk it as well. I’ll have a few days that will be regular, from where I will house sit for a friend. But after that? OLD SCHOOL Big Time! It’s what I’ll call the doc done on the flip.
Well, got work to do all! Be well, and go to my blog get my address, it’s in the last posting, and send me a card will ya?

Dear CRC, Doug Arne and Barn, and all friends!
It is indeed wonderful news about the CRC Radio Waves that will soon go across oceans to places as far off as India, carrying the wonderful wisdom of CRC and his viewers to all! Peace and Goodwill are urgently lacking in this world of today — and it is so important for people all over the globe to realise that there are people like CRC , Doug Aarne and Barn in the world who are ever ready to propagate these ideals for the survival of humanity.
Indeed these people are like latte- day prophets carrying the message of One God in the world who says that peace is His Gift to the world. My father HH Shri Bhola Nathji had founded the World Prayer Day with that purpose.
Doug was known as the Hobo Prophet in his site on Pah and did much to propagate these ideals of Love and Peace as stemming from God, the Creator, who wishes to preserve His Creation.
In India they speak of God as the Creator, The Preserver and finally the Destroyer. The Universe originates in Him, it is preserved by Him and finally it is destroyed by Him.
We are in that period where God wishes to preserve the Universe he has created — and for that purpose has placed the ideals of love and peace in the hearts of men.
Though these ideals exist in a latent form in the breasts of most– since they cannot live without love and peace — yet these ideals are manifested in a more open form in the hearts of special souls like Doug Aarne who are guided by God, as are the special souls like CRC and Barn, through whom humanity is experiencing so much of kindness and love and peace.
May this Radio of CRC bring about a new awakening in the world in a voice that goes across the oceans bringing love and peace into the hearts of all who tune in to this voice of unity and oneness!!
Yours,
Priya
