Hello Barn,
I have not been able to get the whole story about you going “old school”. For some reason I am having problems tapping on to Doug’s Audio Comments. I also have been very busy trying to keep my head above the economic crisis waters we all find ourselves in. If by going “old school” means that you will no longer be charming us with the witty way you present insight to the blog, then I and the rest of the nation are at a great loss. I can only hope you won’t be gone long. I am also looking forward to hearing CRC interview you.

A different way to the Inter-galactic-connection.
Can’t wait to hear your radio show.
Very exiting project!

Translation would be something like:
(if anyone can traslate my abstract poem better, please do!)
Entangled by volatile ties,
I conspire for a spell plot.
I intend to solder on the unions,
but the gears got dispersed.
Hi Patricia, I just went on your blog. I love your Art Slide. I just bought The Wizard of Oz and Pinochico, Pinochollo, whatever, for my grandkids….The Wizard of Oz made you believe in Somewhere over the Rainbow, were sky are blue, I guess it’s a metaphor for looking for better times and places…this too will pass…we all sang it when we were little girls.
How are you feeling CRC, you are in my thoughts and prayers, the appendix is like a little worm…. isn’t that funny. I have never been really sick and the school nurse would always tell me as I got older, you are going to be a one sick little girl because I hadn’t any of the childhood diseases, chicken pox or whatever, had a stomach ache from eating too much……
CRC, I hope and pray for you getting well after the surgery.
Doug, you’ve connected the poem with such a beautiful interpretation. Your voice sounds so sweet. We all dream this…”Last night I had the strangest dream,
I’d never dreamed before,
I dreamed the world had all agreed,
To put an end to war.”
Anna, you see, we are all connected, no matter where we live or if we know each other.
your ties are volatile and entangled
they conspire and they plot
somehow you got untangled and dispersed
your spell plot
i thought i forgot
then your intentions to fuse and solder all my earth
had fallen away
the gears scattered and burned
all the worth
still i hope i will not forget
your translation
less dry
less wet
no…
perfect
Remember when CRC asked the question: Who would you be ? The lion, scarecrow, tinman or Dorothy. That was so easy for me because I was always Dorothy. My grandma was Auntie Em, had the same hairdo, we live on a farm, ranch, had pigs, ever so often. Whe she sang “Over the Rainbow” we had that old plow that was pulled by a horse which after the movie I would stand by and sing………..the two movies I sent my granddaughter are both 70 years old. Can you believe it, but they are timeless………
They now sell Ruby Slippers for little girls, don’t know if they are magical………….don’t much like the blue checkered or is it gingham blue dress and I use to try to go through the looking glass, after reading Alice.
I get to put my art stuff at the Wells Fargo Bank window..I should have joined Art League years ago. Some women help you up and others push you off the bench………..It was an accident……….Now who would you be?…Dan is the Wizard……….We’re off to see the Wizard, The Wonderful Wizard of Ozz..because……
Ahhhh! Old school alive and well here I see! You’s guy’s choke me up. Not to mention any names but…Everyone in this Everyones Boat,
Everyones Boat with me!
Yes amy, I do smile when the tough gets tougher.
My Mother had this little thing she kept on the fridge. The line that stuck with me was…
“The man worth while,
Is the man with the smile,
When everything goes dead wrong.”
Words to live by.
Merry Christmas all you beautiful souls!
Big un? Get better will ya?
Be well,

I’m a bad singer, but like Dorothy, I’may wear magical ruby slippers and venture down the yellow brick road.
