SUNDAY WISDOM

“Watch your thoughts, for they become words.
Watch your words, for they become actions.
Watch your actions, for they become habits.
Watch your habits, for they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.”

I’ve heard this before, and it seems indicative of the “tree like” development of my own personal destiny.

The question that the physicist in me begs to ask is:

Does the process also work in the reverse direction?

Might the thoughts I think in some way be connected to the words that I am about to speak? Are those words indication of future actions? Habits? Character? Destiny?

Perhaps they are, at least with respect to such a thing as a “self fulfilling prophecy”. However, aren’t self fulfilling prophecies still prophecies?

The idea of “cause and effect” departed from physics shortly after Issac Newton penned the laws of motion. When will our consciousness be relieved of these burdens?

I liked Destiny but she’s a lousy tennis player. Have you ever tried teaching Destiny? Can you just hit the ball back to me? True story…..I am hitting the ball right at the racket…..and I won’t describe her…….but she is cute….

  5. Aduzi Says:

Hello (our Frienduzi) John! thanks for asking about me. I am as well as can be expected and hope that you and Rose are doing well. I may have to slow down, but I have been telling my sister just how much you all mean to me.

Anyway I love how CRC’s Sunday Wisdom continues to be a breath of fresh air!!

    And so…

All For ONE, ONE For ALL

  7. DOC Says:

CRC- Can you estimate how many people watch spices of life tv each week? If so, how many? Do you have sponsors yet? How long will the web series last? Inspiring minds want to know.

  8. Aduzi Says:

Hey Doug, we’re doing OK over here in western PA, except for the cold, Rosie says hello, and is doing fine. We both have a little touch of cabin fever but we will get over it. The temperatures are so low over here that I’m having trouble peeing. Rose says thats TMI. We hope you and yours are doing well and hope all the Frienduzis here make it through the winter in good shape.

Since Biker Chef has not been making many appearances lately I now look forward to “Sunday Wisdoms” as my favorite.

    Your Frienduzi,
    Aduzi

  9. CRC Says:

SOL will be around for awhile when I attach sponsors to it and make it a larger format. It’s getting traffic and positive feedback, but obviously I’d like a lot more. I’m working on it. Spread the word if you like it.

  10. Anna Says:

A predestination paradox (also called causal loop, causality loop, and (less frequently) closed loop or closed time loop) is a paradox of time travel that is often used as a convention in science fiction. It exists when a time traveller is caught in a loop of events that “predestines” or “predates” them to travel back in time. Because of the possibility of influencing the past while time traveling, one way of explaining why history does not change is by saying that whatever has happened must happen.

  11. Anna Says:

You are your own Destiny…………it is the choices you make.

No one will hear your song unless you sing it aloud.

  13. CRC Says:

I’m looking for BEN. I would love to have you as our next CRC LIVE RADIO SHOW this THURSDAY AT 7:30 pm PST.

  14. Doug Says:

CRC, I just put the word into the digital universe. Hoping to see if I got through to Ben. Sounds like a awesome show on the horizon.

Frienduzi, I totally agree with your comment with regards great advice. How I miss the daily dose of wisdom and inspiration. John, so happy you guys are doing great. I, on the other hand, have been with my wife & sister, for we have been summoned by the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office, because they want to throw the book at our beloved brother’s killer. Also, I have been dealing with white coat fever. My veins have been pumping out much blooduzi these days :(

    And so…

All For One, One For ALL

  15. Eric Says:

I don’t believe in causal loops or predestination paradoxes. CRC’s bro explains this beautifully in the movie “Next”. Watch the show, and don’t think about psychics, but think instead about time travellers. The present is a convergence of information coming from both the past and the future.

Do you spend a lot of time remembering an awesome experience from your past because the experience was so memorable? Or was the experience memorable because you were going to spend so much time in the future remembering it?

We sometimes think that the past is more real than the future. We say that something “already” happened, as if that is more real than something that is “going” to happen. From the perspective of my future self, the stuff that is going to happen has already happened.

  16. Doug Says:

Really enjoyed watching “Next.” Mr. Cage is an extremely talented actor and brings much life to whatever role he plays. Anyhow this movie rocked. I especially enjoyed the unexpected ending. Would love for him to make a sequel and begin where they ended. See what I’m saying?
