I listened to your archived show with your brother. Sounds like you guys had a memorable childhood. I especially loved the part about vortexes, parallel dimensions, and string theory. I liked Marc’s chaos vs. destiny theory.
I have a pretty cool UFO story, that you might relay to the Cope.
This story comes from one of my best friends whose last name is Bergevin.
He told me that when he was a baby a guy showed up on his parents door. The guy said his name was “Mr. Lyons” and that he was the lawyer of Bernie Bergevin, an uncle. They knew about Bernie, but had never met him. Mr. Lyons told them that Bernie had died and had left a fortune behind, and he was tasked with distributing the inheritance.
Mr. Lyons explained how Bernie got wealthy. Bernie was an engineer who was called in to look at a power generator that was malfunctioning. While working on the malfunction, Bernie noticed that the generator was overloading itself, and seemed to be getting energy from nowhere. As he tried to understand what was going on, he developed a theory. Mr. Lyons explained it by saying that “there are as many frequencies above the speed of light as there are below the speed of light”.
Bernie was apparently able to use this technology to create a vehicle that powered itself, and seemed to defy the laws of inertia. Mr. Lyons showed pictures of this vehicle to the Bergevins, and they have described to me what it looked like. My mental image depicts it as very UFO-esque.
Bernie sold this technology and amassed a large fortune. He apparently had so much money that he was planning to pay off the national debt – whatever amount it was in the 80′s. He was killed before he could do so, Mr. Lyons believed that this was the reason he was killed.
Mr. Lyons told the Bergevins that they would receive millions of dollars of inheritance. If I recall correctly, they actually did get some installments of the money, but Mr. Lyons mysteriously disappeared and they have heard nothing of it since.
My son Adam, alisa Aaron loves Pitbulls. Red devil dog Tyson now white Crazy Daisey. I took Daisey for a walk, she pulled I pulled back, I was upset, twice I took her, no problem, well behaved, pull me but I pulled back, harder. Second day, testing boundaries, wet mud and leaves, fell in leaves, squirells, pug dog friends, she got away for a second, she is fast, cut fingers with rings, totally pissed off. Now, if she gets wild I will wrap her lease around her neck till she is almost dead. She now knows who is boss. Day three, worn out Daisey, she is sound asleep in dog cage, snoring, I was sore for one day, when you walk a 900 pound horse and wrapped her lease around a telephone pole, call for back up, to pick up horse before you kill it, good training for a female pitbull….not that is a workout……..Adam hadn’t walked her, well she needs to learn, and I don’t like cleaning poop….
Speakers rattle on the wall to the sound of AC DC. The floor vibrates under your feet with the thunder of dropped dumbbells. Your hands smell like metal. Sweat runs down the small of your back as your t shirt draws taut against engorging pecs. The burn is deep and good.
Train hard and seek the burn!!
Right Guard has inert ingredients….I always thought that was funny………..technology is a amazing, how they made the camera. capturing our image into a photo, than a moving picture which we take for granted, we are very spoiled and ungrateful people………2012, sometimes I totally agree………..
What a great piece. And I am deeply impressed you can work out & talk to camera at the same time.
Your blog is great; I’m enjoying catching up with you after all these years.
The next time I’m up in SF, I’ll stop at Tosca and order an August Coppola Martini and drink a toast to him. I hung out with him on set when he came up to Elko for your dance hall scene in Gunfighter, and among other things I appreciated what a good sport he was during a tough shooting day.
Scope surrounding area for other dogs, small dogs, especially other pits for our daily walks. Walk other way if any are seened.
Wrapping lease around neck doesn’t work. Grapping collar and hanging her in mid air, works, while going around in a circle to avoid teeth. She is now snoring. Need choke collar, silver..Good girl…She gave me a love bite..hurt but didn’t break skin…
